Roblin’s New Arena Brings Pride to Community
The Roblin Arena covers 86 by 192 feet with seating along a 70 by 170 foot ice span and includes enclosed waiting rooms, a glass front gallery, two hockey rooms, toilets, a lunch booth, fuel storage, and a furnace room. The west curling wing measures 66 by 160 feet with four curling sheets and a separate entrance. The facility features forced air heating, modern electrical pumps, sound construction, a pitched curling roof, and a curved skating roof, reflecting pride in a premier recreational center for today and tomorrow.

The Minister of Finance Douglas Abbott announced amendments to tariff items 271 272 and 272a to permit imports of lubricating oils and greases partly or wholly from petroleum and refined jellies and oils for toilet medicinal edible or similar uses in containers over 25 Imperial gallons or 250 pounds.
