Harvest and threshing rates set by Péisaens Union
At an August meeting in Orange Man the Péisaens Union announced pay scales for harvest and threshing services. Harvest pay set at 9 1 2 cents per day with various grain rates. day rates for large steam outfits $50 to $60 and engine power based charges $40 to $80. Threshing day defined as 11 hours with 30 minutes allowed for rest. An Executive Committee and Arbitration Board were appointed: H Jeagand, J Arnott, R Kelly, J Ritchie, A G Burrows.

Metu s Meeting Highlights Child Health and Play Plans
The meeting at Mrs Woo Edwards home attracted 26 members and friends who discussed the child health conference findings showing 125 children with conditions that mostly had remedial outcomes.
