Wounded Sons Reported From France In The Tribune

Word received Wednesday by Mrs. Margaret Way that her son Trp Gordon William Hay is officially reported wounded on August 9 in France. The Tribune notes Trp Morley Somerville, son of Mr and Mrs Del Somerville, is also wounded in the same battle in France. Wounds' seriousness is unknown but both will receive proper care.

Roblin Bride Weds U S Soldier in Michigan Home

Cpl. Herman Hartz and Vena Kroll of Nahant Mass married June 24 near Flint Michigan. She left Roblin in 1943 to work in Windsor Ontario, later met Hartz at Ft Ruckman Nahant. They visited Roblin on a short wedding trip and will reunite in Nahant or Flint as duty allows.
