Shell River Council Minutes August 17 Meeting Actions
The council adopted last meeting minutes and acknowledged a Fair Wage League letter seeking $3.50 daily for harvesting and $4.00 for threshing. They approved grants of $200 to the Great War Veterans Association of Dauphin and $25 to the Children's Aid Society of Dauphin, and set tax penalty relief for pre 1918 road diversions. Wages for wire fencing and July pay sheets for Wards 1-4 were approved, with William Edwards to be paid for DRO services and rent.

Roblin Union Sunday School picnic set for Friday Aug 23 near the lake. all welcome with baskets. Mrs C Rademaky died at Winnipeg General Hospital after an operation.
