Statistics Canada data show Manitoba adding 1,700 in the labour force from June to July 2010, with employment down 100 and private sector jobs up 2,200. Public-sector jobs fell 2,300 while full-time positions declined 3,400 and part-time rose 3,300, lifting unemployment by 0.3 percentage points to 5.6 percent.
