CNUF recalls injustices of war at Dauphin ceremony
At Canada's National Ukrainian Festival in Dauphin a ceremony marked the 80th anniversary of Canada's wartime internment camps for Ukrainians from 1914 to 1920. The plaque at Memorial Park lists 14 camps and honors over 5,000 internees as clergy from Ukrainian Orthodox and Ukrainian Catholic churches led the dedication.
