Diversification centre funded for drone imaging system
The federal and provincial governments provide 12 000 funding to Parkland Crop Diversification Foundation, part of Manitoba's four centres receiving nearly 45 000 for specialized equipment. The aerial drone imaging system will be shared to map soil, crops and growing conditions across the province, advancing Growing Forward 2 initiatives. Minister Ron Kostyshyn notes drones will boost age industry insights and farm productivity.
