Drones Demonstrated At Parkland Field Day
Agricultural drone applications for fixed wing and rotary units were shown at the Parkland Crop Diversification Centre Field Day south of town. Onboard imaging, including infrared, enables tailored pesticide and fertilizer use and targeted spraying. The event featured a grass-fed barbeque lunch, hemp and soybean agronomy, plot tours with quinoa as a test, and agronomic demonstrations.
