Manitoba Hydro posts 346 million net income for year
Manitoba Hydro released its annual report for the year ending March 31 with a net income of 346 million dollars, the second highest in its 57 year history. Exports reached 625 million, aided by strong water flow and higher hydraulic generation. New power deals include Minnesota Power and Wisconsin Public Service with sales starting 2008 to 2020, and a wind project near St. Joseph is under discussion.
