Homecoming Visits And Personal Notes At Maple Manor
Last week at Maple Manor many guests and families visited residents. Mary Kosinski traveled to Winnipeg Airport to bring home her husband Mike’s sisters Mary and Marge from Toronto for Homecoming, with Elsie Kosinski and her children from Wainwright joining in. Ruth Stauttener and Walter Keil visited, along with Ruth’s mother. Condolences go to Clara Henry on a Winnipeg loss. Nellie Nash hosted her children Eveline Lebowicky, Richard Nash, Betty Nash, Roland Nash, and granddaughter Donna Lowe. Night To Remember, pancake breakfasts, and the outdoor Sunday service were enjoyed, with other visitors including Sadie Staple’s family and friends. Harold and Elsie Chase recount their Maple Manor arrival in 1999, family details, and long residence. Millennium Park events and a wiener roast at Madge Lake were noted, along with visits from Bertha Winchbrook, Beryl Cowan, Sharon Buckmaster, and Shirley Davis’s extended family. A closing quote highlights the value of happiness over anger.
