The Roblin Review lists subscription at one dollar per annum payable in advance. Transient advertisements such as sales entertainments and legal notices are twelve cents per line for the first insertion and eight cents for each subsequent insertion. The Roblin district announces its annual exhibition set for Tuesday August 6. Primarily a farmers day the event encourages all farmers and families to attend and prepare exhibits. Entries may be accepted on show day. An afternoon baseball tournament features senior junior and ladies divisions.
Roblin Red Cross Society seeks butter tea sugar milk and cream for sports day on August 6 to be sent to Gill's store by Monday. Donations to arrive by Saturday 7 p.m. Volunteers to help at the booth may call Mrs Evans. The appeal is through the Review, not a personal canvass.
England reports a large wheat stock totaling 300 million bush els stored nationwide. Officials note the substantial reserve supports supply security and pricing stability amid market fluctuations.
The Shell River Agricultural Society states compliance with food controller rules requires removing banned classes from Dairy Produce and Manufactures Class P. Section 7 8 10 17 18 19 20 are struck. Class 6 bread must use War Flour with prizes 5 4 3 2 1. A new third prize of 100 is added in Section 9. New class for pan biscuits with War Flour offers 300 and 200. two loaves bread require at least 25 percent cereal other than wheat with prizes 300 each. Best Colt by Over Again prizes 5 3 2 donated by Kines & Cranwell.

Wounded Pte E J White of Deepdale is noted in casualty lists. A small child Donna Claudine Irwin died at home aged 2 years and 24 days with funeral set for Thursday at 2 30 p.m.
