AMM Praises Manitoba Wastewater Regulation Amendments
The Association of Manitoba Municipalities welcomes Manitoba's proposed amendments to the Onsite Wastewater Management Systems Regulation. AMM President Doug Dobrowolski says the changes make the rule more manageable and address concerns about uncertainty and potential municipal costs. The amendments allow retaining existing sewage ejectors during property transfers if criteria are met and avoid banning ejectors in non sensitive areas.
