The Roblin Review earned First Place for editorial pages in the Manitoba Community Newspaper Association Better Newspapers Competition in the under 2,000 circulation category for the second year running. Second and third went to Lac du Bonnet Leader and Boissevain Recorder.

Health Centre to Get $500,000 for Renovations
The Boissevain Health Centre will receive $500,000 from the province to renovate the doctors clinic emergency room and business office. Turtle Mountain MLA Merv Tweed announced the funding saying it will keep health care close to home for area residents.
