Asessippi Ski Area earns top Manitoba attraction nod
Asessippi Ski Area and Winter Park earns Attractions Canada honor as best new Manitoba attraction, validating the dynamic, hospitality focused plan to offer prairie ski get away. Daymon Guillas notes a nine week season still achieved strong lift passes and high per person spend on rentals and meals. Lessons learned include boosting tubing revenue and improving the tubing park while expanding snowmaking capacity and planning summer events. The resort aims to become a premier wedding and banquets destination with a sugar shack, courtyard paving, a tent, and a planned wedding chapel.
