Roblin Boy Survives Icy Fall After Thin Ice Breaks
Seven year old Kevin Langan of Main Street N.E. played on a patch of ice on Third Ave N near Highway 5 when the ice gave way and left him up to his neck in cold water. Roblin passerby Bob Livingstone pulled him free and kept him still until help arrived. The boy, shaken but unharmed, was sent home with an older child as he learned a hard spring thaw lesson about ice hazards and water drains in town.

Co op Depot Committee Dissolved After Roblin Closure
Roblin's Co op Implements committee officially dissolved at its April 6 1989 annual meeting. With eight more depots closed chances of Roblin reopening were slim.
