Fire Marshal Calls Roanoke School Heat and Wiring Upgrades

Roanoke High School will hold its 1923 commencement exercises Friday evening April 20 at the U B Church. Oswald Ryan of Anderson Indiana will deliver the commencement address. John C Zorger Dead in Whitley County Home
John C. Zorger farmer of Whitley County died at his Collins home Tuesday morning April 3 1923 after months of illness heart trouble was the cause. He was 68 born in Smith township Whitley County to Michael and Catherine Zorger and married Eliza Goodyear in 1883 who survives. Surviving children include Walto Zorger Fort Wayne Northa Zorger Huntington Catherine Gass Aboite Eva Smith Jefferson township Dewey Zorger Aboite Ada Farrel Union Ruth Hive ly Smith Violet Zorger at home. Siblings Mary Dinius Roanoke Ida Mc Math Upland also survive. Funeral held at Saturn church Thursday two o'clock Rev Wesley Pugh officiating interment Roanoke I O O F cemetery.
