Four in wrecked sedan bound for Richmond after church convention
A late afternoon crash on Hiway 301 near Hiway 125 left Etta Jefferson with severe spinal injuries. The driver E J Perkins and two passengers survived as the large Ohio plated sedan rolled three times and landed on its side. The injured woman was taken to St. Phillips Hospital in Richmond for treatment.
