In a 14 inning contest the Romances beat Kentucky 6-1 to reach the round of sixteen in the national softball tournament. DeBerry pitched for the Romances with Stewart catching, while Kentucky features West on the mound and Dunlap behind the plate. Kentucky had one error. locals had none.
