The Supreme Court upheld a $45,000 personal damages award to Mrs. Jennie Parker of New Jersey from Seaboard Air Line over a Weldon railroad crossing accident. Death of Mrs Roberta P Lynch at Roanoke Rapids
Mrs Roberta Pope Lynch wife of Mr June Lynch died at her Railroad Street home in Roanoke Rapids after a months long illness. She was 42. Survived by her husband and seven children. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at 1 PM with interment in Cedarwood Cemetery.
