New Plan For Gas Rationing Unveiled For East Coast
The Office of Price Administration releases a permanent East Coast plan requiring Halifax county motorists to register again later this month. Registration will occur at school buildings with volunteers, and drivers must complete a detailed questionnaire to determine future gas allotments. The plan ends X cards and sets a 2880 mile annual cap, roughly four gallons weekly for non essential users, starting the first week of July.
