Roanoke Rapids Youth Sentenced for Assault and Rape Attempt
Hubert Miller, a Roanoke Rapids resident aged 16, was arrested minutes after an assault and attempted rape near the Presbyterian Church. A Halifax Superior Court jury found him guilty and set a prison term between 18 months and three years. Miller confessed after initial denials and faced prior accusations linking him to similar crimes as “The Squeez er.”
