Marine Corps Transfer Deadline Set for October 15 1946
The U S Marine Corps designates October 15 1946 as the deadline for transfer applications from Marine Corps and temporary USMC officers to the regular Marines. Applications received by that date proceed through local boards to the Commandant. Exceptions apply for officers with under one year commissioned service or those commissioned after October 15.
