Rivers School Board Meeting Minutes and Adjustments
Rivers School Trustees met on Wednesday October 2 with J T Bowman in the chair. Resolutions include approving last minutes paying 43.87 dollars, accepting W B Stewart Son bid for one car of Dominion double screened cobble coat at 485 per ton, cancelling Van No 2 contract with T Charles and awarding to John Treloar, notifying Angus McDonald that his boy cannot attend due to discipline, and reports from the Principal and Attendance Officer for September. Meeting adjourned.

Rivers United Church will hold anniversary services on Sunday October 13 with two sessions at 11 a.m. and 7 30 p m Rev J E Bell formerly of Brandon will speak to old friends and the choir will provide special music A church supper is planned for October 16 with details to follow attendance urged

Amateur Night at Rivers Promises New Entertainment
