Glenn Barry McConkey, newly joined member of the BCAf, departed Brandon Tuesday morning after a short visit with his mother, Mrs. A. W. Johnson.
Town and rural residents keep in touch with weddings, birthdays, and guests from Winnipeg and Kenora. A peaceable calendar lists the Morrow-Bell wedding, Nurse Rose Subsky’s graduation, and a church anniversary. Visitors include Robt. B. Lee, C. Gabe, and veterans from the Guards camp in Ontario.
A gold background cameo brooch is missing. It is valued as a keepsake. If found, return to Mrs Lyons, care of Mrs Angel.

The Rural Municipality of Daly deposits its Assessment Roll for fifteen days for inspection. Complaints must be lodged with the Clerk at least ten days before the Court of Revision sitting on Tuesday November 3, 1942 at 2 p.m. at the Clerk's Office in Rivers. Dated October 2, 1942. T.
