Wheatland Resident Charged With Assault in Police Court

Thursday before Magistrate Cousins a Wheatland resident was charged with assault on a young boy. The defendant was ordered to pay the costs. Under the small debt recovery act A Chapman summoned J Kiaver for three days wages and ordered payment of wages and costs. On Monday September 29 N Cher NA was summoned under the Motor Vehicle Act for not reporting an accident. Fined five dollars and costs.

Rally Day Service Garners Record Attendance at Union Sunday School

The Union Sunday School held its annual rally with 300 plus attendees. Mr Ireland’s class presented The Good Samaritan and Rev S A Martin led a baptism and address.
