At the meeting of the Grand Lodge of Odd Fellows in Jacksonville Florida the 18 year old amendment passed allowing youths of 18 years and over to join the order after January 1925.
Canada enforces a new federal rule requiring all potatoes for sale to be graded A B and OG. A tag on each sack must show grower time address and grade. Sales after Oct 1 must be by weight not by sack or measure, with fruit inspectors monitoring shipments.

On Monday September 29 N Cher NA was summoned under the Motor Vehicle Act for not reporting an accident. Fined five dollars and costs.
The Union Sunday School held its annual rally with 300 plus attendees. Mr Ireland’s class presented The Good Samaritan and Rev S A Martin led a baptism and address. Stella Kryvenki Frank Taylor and Mary Stevenson gave recitations as promotion exercises followed. A $32 collection set a record for similar events.
