Town Council approves skating rink pricing and repairs
A special meeting led by Mayor Thompson approved setting a $3 fee for police court cases in town hall and empowering the Rink Committee to repair the skating rink. 1920 21 season tickets priced at 10 for families, 3 and more at 4 or more, others at 3.50 for ladies and children, 25 cents for gentlemen, curling fee set at 7. Secretary ordered to print tickets. The rink manager hiring remains with the Rink Committee.

At the Friendship Rebekah Lodge No. 27 meeting last Thursday Sister and Brother Warner who moved to Meville were presented with a framed address. Sister Past Grand Angel read the document and handed it over, with Sister Warner replying appreciatively. Also, Sister Warner and Sister Olive Cluff received Home Fund Red Bricks ahead of Cluff’s departure for Hamilton Ont.
