Mrs Collett Brandon spoke to the WMS of Rivers about her decade as a Belgian Congo missionary. The illustrated lecture highlighted life there, with a program chaired by Mrs F W Lee and performers including Mrs P Luchuk, Neil Ford, Alex Whyte, Mrs Bert Ford, and Roberta Ford. Refreshments closed the evening.
Miss Phyllis Dyer of Winnipeg General Hospital and Miss Jessie Veitch of Brandon Mental Hospital are set to graduate tonight in provincial ceremonies. Miss Dyer is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Dyer of Rivers, while Miss Veitch is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Veitch of Bradwardine.
