Helen Pyrot Honored At Ukrainian Hall Shower
Seventy five people gathered in the Ukrainian hall on Tuesday evening to honor Miss Helen Pyrot bride elect who will leave town for Sudbury Ontario in early April. The event featured music by Mrs C Bellamy and Miss Dorothy Taylor with tea poured by Mrs J Taylor and Mrs J Maksymczuk. Mrs J W Hanlon presented the guest with a corsage as a wagon laden with gifts was drawn in by Mrs L Forman for the bride elect.

Student Body Hosts Social Evening at Community Hall
Over 50 persons attended a social evening in the Community hall on Friday night, hosted by the student body. The event featured light refreshments and informal entertainment, aiming to foster camaraderie among students.
Rivers High School Bonspiel Awards Honor Winners
Entertainment and lunch preceded prize presentation for four events at the recent school bonspiel. Grand challenge prizes went to Lloyd Woods Wilbur Cox and Alex Mazur with Doug Madden. High school event winners Alan Wareham and Robert Treloar. Consolation winners Henry Kroeger and Alfred Jelliff. Hard luck awards went to Raymond Riddick and Donald McKinnon.
