Whist Drive and Dance Aids Oddfellows Home Fund
The Rivers Lodge Rebekahs hosted a whist drive and dance to raise funds for the Oddfellows Home. H Ireland announced winners, Miss Rea won ladies prize and R W Oliver won gent prize. Maw and Lambkin provided music. supper overseen by Mrs Miners Grant W G Thomas and J Cluff. The event ended at 4 am with many helping to serve and a successful social night.

Red Cross Auxiliary Holds Monthly Meeting and Tea
The Red Cross Auxiliary met at Mrs. Grieve's home for a regular business and social session. Tea raised 2.50 as the treasurer noted canvassers missed their rounds due to widespread illness and urged resumed visits to meet urgent funds. Prayer meetings and sewing sessions are announced for the week.

Grain Growers Hold Sparse Meeting on Seed Oats Supply
A sparsely attended Grain Growers meeting discussed seed oats and barley needs. Secretary reported two catloads of seed oats found in Lashburn and Duff Saskatchewan, ordered with approval, thanks to Mr. Tucker of the Canadian Bank of Commerce for assistance. Regular monthly meetings set for the last Saturday each month at 3 p.m. for member discussion.
