Reduced Fares Authorized For Regina Winter Fair
Canadian National Railways authorizes reduced fares for the Saskatchewan Provincial Winter Fair in Regina from March 16 to 23. Tickets go on sale March 19 to 23 at single fare and one third for round trip from Saskatchewan and Manitoba stations. Return limit March 27. Tickets not sold on the last sale date for trains arriving Regina after 3 PM. Further information from local CN railway agents.

Respected Rivers Citizen Frank Buggey dies at 40
Frank Warren Buggey a station agent with the Grand Trunk Pacific for 13 years and a longtime Rivers public servant died after a long illness at age 40. Born in Liverpool he served in the Presbyterian Church Masonry and on the Rivers School Board. Funeral services were held at Union Church with Masonic rites and burial plans to Winnipeg. He leaves a widow three sons Lorne Leslie Whitney and daughter Ruth.

Railway accident injures Ashley Wilson in yard incident
Ashley Wilson son of Rev and Mrs W G Wilson was struck by a train in the railway yards on Tuesday afternoon and required amputation of his leg. Rev Jas Woodsworth will conduct special services at the Methodist Church. Woodsworth is noted as Labor M P in the Federal Government.
