The bride wore white satin with a heart neckline and lily point sleeves, carried American Beauty roses, and wore a pearl necklace from the groom. Bridesmaid Joyce Lee maid of honor Patricia Padberg. flower girl Marilyn Maxwell. ushers Herb Monthey and Jack Spearman. Reception at Homestead then honeymoon in Winnipeg and Rivers before moving to Toronto.

Daly church anniversary services set for June 8
The Daly church will hold its anniversary services on Sunday June 8 with Rev. W Har land of Foxwarres and formerly of this charge officiating. Morning and evening services will include special anniversary music.
Pettapiece Honors WWII Veterans in Dedication Service
A May 25 dedication at Pettapiece United church honored WWII service with an honor roll of twenty names. The largely attended service was led by Rev. F. W. Lee, while former pastor Rev. R. W. Donagh conducted the unveiling ceremony and delivered the memorial address for FO G. R. Stratford and FO G. R. Graham Kite. Ex-service men attended and listened to the address.
