Nursing Sister Mrs William McDonald of No 12 SFTS spent her 48 hours with her father Jas Wedderburn. Mr and Mrs Alex Thomson returned from Winnipeg after a weekend with Mr and Mrs E Fewing. Rivers Town backs Municipal Doctor by wide vote
In Rivers Town a 94 to 14 vote supports being served by a Municipal Doctor. In Daly Rural Municipality the vote favoring a Municipal Doctor was 173 to 79, with Ward One voting against. Ladies Curling Club elected skips C Foster Hedberg Musgrove Rea. Reeve N W Robins re-elected. P H Neville installed as Warden of Rivers Masonic Lodge. Miss Mary Baily in Winnipeg for an operation. Vickery left for the mountains to hunt big game.

Effective December lst, Canadian Pacific Transport Co buses will stop in Rivers at Gilchrist's Drug Store rather than at the Alexandra Hotel. The change shifts pickup and drop off points for riders in the town, with Gilchrist's Drug Store serving as the new stop location.
