The New Minister Presented by Ancrumites
The Ancrumites of St. Matthew's Ancrum staged a musical play The New Minister last Friday. Ed Dowland impressed as the minister with clerical bearing while Albert Hays played a sturdy old fashioned sexton. Miss Nevitt sang Let Me Sing and the Woman's Auxiliary Old Maids Club group and committee members delivered convincing choruses. Mrs McCartney accompanied the numbers during the performance.

St James Bazaar by St James_Womans Aux Easter event
The St James Ladies Auxiliary plans an Easter Bazaar at the Sons of England Hall on Saturday afternoon April 29. A display of pillow cases towels fancy centres scarfs and aprons will be available and home cooking will abound for Saturday baking. The juniors table of home made candy supports the event and afternoon tea is offered at 20 cents starting at 3 o clock.
