Easter Egg Appeal Brings In Bountiful Church Donations
In rainy Easter services at St James the sick received eggs donated from Wheatland Roseville and Rivers. A total of 108 dozen were counted and packed for shipment to Tuxedo Military Hospital Winnipeg General Hospital Winnipeg Children’s Ward Portage Hospital and local parish sickbeds. Mr E Hewins thanks all responders for the generous drive.

Town Council Meeting Minutes April 16 Actions Passed
The Town Council met with the mayor presiding on Wednesday April 16. Resolutions include granting J E Thompes permission to build a frame garage with brick veneer once a proper foundation is laid and noting it does not affect fire rate. C Matthews appointed General Utility Man Constable and Health Officer at 60 dollars monthly. E J Forman hired as Sec Treas at 60 dollars monthly. A request for title on the western 70 feet of lots 1 2 3 block 7 was approved. Curfew bylaw to be prepared for next meeting. Gasoline stations on streets reconsidered as harmful to business. council adjourned.
