Miss Gladys Whyte heads to Kenton for a wedding next month after three years in Rivers with Taylor Son. Mrs T Miners marked her 87th birthday with a gathering of town friends including Mrs H Rea of Portage la Prairie. Whyte bride elect attended a shower in United church annex with 63 ladies, tea hosted by Mrs Walter Harrison and Mrs Alex Whyte. Gifts from Miss Dorothy Taylor and Betty Hanlon.
