Mrs C J Bartlett left to join Mr Bartlett at Pleasant Point where he is operator. Bruce Butler lost a finger operating a circular saw. The Community Club began work on its tennis courts. A large number of farmers are already on the land. E D Button opened the Gem moving picture theatre on Main Street. The town has only one resident minister though three denominational services are held each Sunday.
