Lots to see along Hwy 250
A travel sketch along Highway 250 south of the former airbase describes scenery from potato crops and irrigation pivots to fields of canola, flax, peas, sunflowers, and a river floodplain. It notes a low passing plane spraying crops, a restored 1892 bridge, and a valley terrain scarred by Asiniiboine River flooding. Seagulls, weathered fields, and 14 horses in a corner complete the scene.
