Rivers 50 Club Sets Fall Games Schedule
The Sept 18 Rivers 50 Club meeting chaired by Adrienne Beaudin had 21 members and two guests. Games begin in October with Lil Kopytko and Doreen Bate organizing on the first and third Mondays, while Wayne Brown runs floor curling on Thursdays except the third. John Klassen chairs card bingo on the second and fourth Fridays. David and Janice Waterfield with Myrtle Wooldridge organize movies on the first and third Fridays, and shuffleboard occurs Tuesday afternoons. Betty Frazer runs darts Wednesdays at 10 am. David Waterfield also organizes pool on Wednesday Friday and Saturday at 1 pm. other games start at 2 pm except pool and darts. The club adheres to Manitoba Society of Seniors rules, not WSC, prompting discussion about leaving WSC. Sunshine chair Betty Frazer sent four cards. Nomination chair Ken Young with Lil Kopytko and Audrey Ashton assist. Cookies for Riverdale Personal Care Home on Sept 30 are by Katie Kroeger and Linda Klassen. Next meeting is Oct 16 at 2 pm.
