Rapid City Royal Canadian Legion Branch No 49 celebrated its 90th anniversary on Sept 10 2016 with a turkey supper for about 150 guests. Local leaders and veterans attended, including zone commander from Virden and district commander from Brandon. A 90th anniversary plaque was presented, and veteran Timer Hyndman recalled past presidents and wartime service. Entertainment featured Shirley Martin and her son Duncan, with dancing and a fellowship close to the evening.
