Bran don's Green Spot shopper Ken Smith bought one Moskvich plant for eight dollars for a fruiting trial. The plant grew four feet ten inches tall and five feet eight inches wide, producing 56 tomatoes that are yellow striped ripening red, large and juicy with few seeds. Judy Esplin notes the heirloom is old and prone to flower rot but tastes good. Internet sources describe Moskvich as an early heirloom indeterminate tomato from Siberia with four to six ounce fruits. the term heirloom varies by source and marketing.

Improved VIA Rail Facility Opens in Rivers
VIA Rail Canada announces relocation of its Brandon North facility to Rivers near Highway 25.
