Rivers stationette to be refurbished with Via Rail aid
At a heritage station restoration committee potluck on Tuesday September 30 Via Rail agreed to underwrite 1194.54 for refurbishing the Rivers stationette moved from Brandon North. The project includes heating lighting and new signs with schedules. A voucher from Via Rail for a Canada trip is offered to help fund the efforts, with 1000 tickets planned at 20 each and a January 2 draw.
