Remembrance Day Ceremony Held at Rivers Collegiate
A crowd of over 200 attended Remembrance Day at Rivers Collegiate gym despite cold November weather. Veterans, Legion members, and students observed the two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. with The Last Post and The Lament. Warren Smallwood spoke, recalling wartime memories and urging vigilance in upholding freedoms. Names of the fallen were read as wreaths were laid, and the day concluded with God Save the Queen and a luncheon at the legion hall.
