Ordination of Rev Sally Carter at St Matthew's Cathedral
Rev Sally Carter was ordained to the priesthood of the Anglican Church of Canada at St Matthew's Cathedral in Brandon on Friday Oct 28. The service featured a crucifer, robed clergy, readings by Heather Wren and Les Wood, a gospel read by Rev Cheryl Kukurudz, and a sermon by Rt. Rev. William Cliff. Her father Rev Richard Wren presented her along with Paul Curtis and Noreen Stone. Sally's daughter Charlotte Castle sang from The Messiah as the congregation and Rivers church family attended the ceremony and reception in the parish hall. Sally moved to Canada from England in 2003 and was ordained deacon in 2015.
