Riverdale Palliative Care Hosts Education Training and Remembrance Events
Riverdale Palliative Care and Minnedosa Palliative Care offer a five week Volunteer Education and Training Program starting November 15 at Minnedosa Hospital to prepare volunteers. Westman Hospice staff teach topics from palliative care basics to grief and bereavement with reimbursement for active volunteers. A Service of Lights on November 26 at 3 p.m. in Rivers honors recent losses with names read, candles lit, and roses distributed. Additional outreach sessions November 28–29 in Shelly Mom's Kitchen discuss advance care planning wills and grief.
