Rivers memories span eight decades of local life
A long column of community notes recounts weddings and births from Clara Warren to Roberta Hildebrandt, farm fires in P. Looney’s home and Frank Walker’s damaged garage, business deals like Grover Cole buying Watkin’s Store, and changes in town: school funding talks, building permits for Havlck's Bakery, and a string of anniversaries and births. It also covers railway derailments, Grey Goose route removals, staff changes, and public garden access, all set across Rivers and surrounding towns from 1927 to 2007.
