Finished cattle prices hit new highs across regions
Canfax reports week ending March 17 saw Canadian fed cattle prices reach historic highs with Alberta dressed prices at 348 per cwt and steer values at 207.90 cwt. Ontario steers average 211.59 and heifers 209.34, while non fed markets rise and cow and bull values climb to multi year peaks.
