Rivers 50 meeting relays curling results and plans
The Rivers 50 group held a March 15 meeting with strong turnout. Ralph Brooking thanked members after March 1 floor curling and Nola McBurney praised for organizing the day. Eight teams competed: Sandy Lake two, Rapid City one, Onanole one, Rivers four. winners were Sandy Lake, Frank Gottfried’s, and Betty Frazer’s teams. Discussions covered hosting a regional final on May 24, potential demonstrations, and open-house ideas. Veterans Affairs visits and auxiliary activities were noted, with 21 members at the Legion meeting.
