Riverdale opens new recreation centre as officials praise project
A ribbon cutting at Riverdale Community Centre marked the 62 000 square foot facility official opening on March 17.about 300 attendees heard remarks from local and provincial leaders who praised partnerships and the $3 million in contributions. The complex features four curling sheets and hockey ice with future upgrades planned including an elevator and viewing areas.
