Crop Tech Rivers Declared Bankrupt After Creditors Vote
Creditors met to review a five year reduced payout plan for Crop Tech Rivers. Thirteen of thirty voted yes, totaling about $59 000, while eleven voted no with about $132 000. The trustee announced bankruptcy after the March 24 meeting.

Rolling River School Division Sets 2004-05 Budget and Talks Calendar
The board approved the 2004-05 expense budget of 16,909,600 dollars and the special requirement of 6,424,081. A one-year leave for Trina Hayter will be studied. An ad hoc committee will review colony school support. A divisional band concert is set for April 28 at 7 30 p.m. at Westman Centennial Auditorium. RRTA has calendar concerns and winter instructional day discussions will continue with ARTA reps. Next meeting is April 8 at 6 45 p.m.

The council approved a community access computer at OakDale Senior's Home and accepted Steve van der Wal's quote for a metal door two steel landings and steps into the carwash bay. They supported Hometown Manitoba for Blanshard Millennium Park in Oak River with a 5000 donation and paid insurance totaling 31973 with several associations billed. The Daly Hamiota Woodworth Weed Control District levy was halved at 5500 and accounts totaling 27365.58 and unpaid invoices 1381.78 plus utility 2515.21 were approved for payment. Next meeting is April 12 at 9 am.
