RRSD trustees release the 2004 2005 budget amid provincial funding cuts and rising costs. They maintain priorities to preserve programs minimize tax increases review staff levels and bolster technology with new buses and a full time electrician.
The club announces season end due to deteriorating snow and trails closed for the year. Todd Foster Ron Saverbron and Cathy Isaak won cash at the March 6 poker derby. A yard bake sale is planned for April 24 at Westoba Credit Union from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A summer golf tournament is also planned with details to come.
